Friday, October 4, is our trip to the Houston Symphony! We’re so excited to travel to downtown Houston to see the new renovations at Jones Hall! The Gala Opening concert with Juraj Valčuha and the orchestra kicks off the season, with one of the world’s most beloved orchestral works, Dvořák’s soul-stirring New World Symphony. This spotlight on great Czech composers also includes Martinů’s joyful Czech Rhapsody, written in celebration of Czechoslovakia’s 1918 independence.
